It is in Kuderu, a small village in Pamidimukkala Mandal, Krishna Dist, Andhra Pradesh. The village is very near to the sacred river Krishna at Iluru for the famous Ramalingeswara Swamy and Seetaramuluvaru. Hence, it is called Dakshina Rameswaram. This place is 2KM from Kuderu. According to the history told by locals, in the year 1875AD an idol of Sri Dasa Anjaneya Swamy was found in one of their fields due to floods in Krishna river. The above mentioned brothers constructed Daddalam (temporary Shelter) and  installed the idol and began doing prayers etc.. after samprokshna.

Years passed by, in the year 1901 they constructed Vimanam Mukha Mandapam, Dwajam, a well, and a permanent compound wall. After the death of the above mentioned disputes had arrised between Pasumarthy family and Archakas for the ownership of the temple. Cases by both the parties were filed in endowment and civil courts. At every stage Pasumarthy family succeeded and was declared by court authorities as hereditary trustees of the temple. Then the Archakas, supported by some villagers appeled in High Court. High Court also justified the judgment given by Civil court and finally declared that Pasumarthy family members were hereditary trustees.
